The CS-06A Computerized Taber Stiffness Tester is used to evaluate the stiffness and elasticity of composite plastics, cardboard, paper, lightweight metal strips, thin metal sheets, wires, and other flexible materials.


The composition primarily consists of three parts: a constant-speed motor, a pendulum clock with a sample clamp that can freely oscillate, and a turntable driven by an electric gear. The clamping block of the stiffness tester is precisely fixed at the center of the gear-driven disc. The top of the test sample is clamped between two clamping blocks, while its bottom is secured between two adjustable tightening wheels. When power is applied, the gear-driven turntable exerts a constant torque on the test sample, causing the pendulum clock to tilt. The stiffness of the test sample can be directly read on the touch screen.


1、 Instrument principle

It is designed based on the principle of static balance of torque on the center of the shaft. The stiffness value of the specimen is obtained by measuring the force or moment required to bend the specimen clamped at one end to a given angle. The bending force of the specimen acts on a constant bending length.

4、 Optional accessories

(1). The sampling cutter can cut samples in sizes of 38mm * 70mm or 38mm * 80mm by switching the adapter size internally;

(2). The sampling cutter handle can hover at four angles of 45 degrees, 60 degrees, 80 degrees, and 120 degrees when lifted;

(3). The sample will automatically fall onto the experimental table after cutting; And it can switch to automatically drop the sample to the left or right side of the sampling cutter.

(4). The blade is made of stainless steel material;

(5). There is an automatically adjustable blade that will automatically clamp during the cutting process and loosen when lifting the handle;;

(6). Energy saving design, no need for strong or fast stamping; It's very easy to cut by pressing down on the handle.
