Assessment of contact pressure of bearing ring
The CONPREss II contact pressure tester has been proven to be indispensable in the assembly and service process of printing machines, especially offset printing machines. It precisely controls the contact pressure between the bearing rings by comparing the measured actual value with the predetermined set value, thereby simplifying the adjustment process.
A very thin and delicate paper measuring strip is placed between the activated carrier rings. The linear or rolled imprints generated are analyzed by photoelectric methods. For roll shaped imprints, the device can provide detailed information about the pressure distribution in the width direction of the contact area of the carrier ring. This not only brings stable printing quality, but also extends the service life of the equipment, thereby improving overall productivity and efficiency.
working principle
Insert a thin and fine paper measuring strip between the cylinder components of the printing machine that need to be controlled, and then apply pressure to it by activating embossing or rolling at a crawling speed. As the changes in transparency are caused by pressure during the scrolling process, these changes will be evaluated by the device and displayed on the screen in the form of graphics and numbers. This device can be used to control and adjust the roller contact pressure in the printing machine unit during assembly or maintenance
